What you will learn
The allergen awareness training for the retail sector takes approximately 1 hour and will cover the following:
- Statutory requirements
- Identifying Allergen Hazards in the workplace
- Labelling and Packaging
- Preventing Cross Contamination
- Improving staff allergen knowledge
- Accurately responding to patron enquiries

How you will be assessed
You will have an assessment quiz at the end of the course presentation.
Roles and quality assurance
5 Star Hospitality Training (FST), also trading as 5 Star Retail Training (RTO #45332) is responsible for the quality of the training and assessment that you will receive. Online Food Safety is responsible for delivering the training and assessment via the online eLearning Portal in accordance with FST requirements. Based on you achieving these requirements FST is responsible for issuing you with a certificate of completion.
